Nestled within a gentle slope, the lower level seamlessly integrates into the existing terrain. This strategic placement allows natural light to flood the space from the west, while the east side remains discreetly hidden. The single main living level cantilevers over the garage, creating a sense of visual lightness and minimizing its perceived size.
This project transcended the typical residence, transforming into a haven for both car enthusiasts and nature lovers. Its success highlights the importance of embracing challenges and collaborating closely with clients to achieve a truly unique and inspiring outcome.
For this project I was tasked with creating posts to press for Archdaily, and create simple drawings to share Erik’s gorgeous design with the Architecture world.
